PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR

Elisa R Ferrè, PhD

Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience and Head of the School of Psychological Sciences at Birkbeck, University of London.

Elisa completed her BSc, MSc, and PhD in Psychology at the Università degli Studi di Pavia, Italy. A visiting period at the UCL Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience during her PhD led her to move there for her postdoctoral research. She held faculty positions at Royal Holloway before joining Birkbeck. Her work sits at the intersection of cognitive neuroscience, experimental psychology, and space science - asking what happens to the human brain when gravity, its most constant reference point, changes

Elisa holds the position of Vice President at the European Low Gravity Research Association (ELGRA).
